Albeit far too quickly for a lot of us, the summer holidays have now passed. We’re delighted that many took advantage of our special summer tuition packages to keep up their learning throughout the “sunny” period. Most of the schools are now back in full flow and it’s that time of year where students are either picking their instruments back up or starting a new one from scratch.
The start of September has seen the usual influx of instrumentalists here at Booths. For those of you wishing to discover or rekindle your musical skills, our music teachers are on hand. If you’re a parent and you and/or your child wishes to have musical tuition here alongside their studies at school, we’d love to here from you.
In terms of popular trends, we’ve seen a large surge in students wanting to learn the violin. Whether this is down to a particular performance, band, show or individual such as Nicola Benedetti we’re not sure! However it is great to see so many budding string players. In addition to violin, we of course provide tuition for the ever-popular instruments such as the guitar, piano, voice, percussion, woodwind, brass and more.
After school and work times are booking up fast, however as we now open until 21:00 most evenings, spaces are available in the vast majority of instruments. Other popular times include Saturdays and Sundays; for more information on our lessons availability, please contact us on 01204 522908 or message using our online contact form below.

If you’re looking for a starter or intermediate range instrument to use alongside your lessons, our own Booths Music instruments are now available in store. Booths instruments include guitars, violins (from 1/4 to full size), clarinets, saxophones and flutes in the woodwind range as well as trumpets and cornets in our brass section.
