We were pleased to see our oldest photo of Booths circulated by the Bolton News on Friday. Featured online and in the paper, the image was part of an interesting series of old photos shared by the BN celebrating Bolton’s long history. In this image, you can see Robert Buckley (an ancestor of the current owners) in the doorway on the right standing next to a work colleague. You can also see the original Golden Lion pub, now renamed The Churchgate.
