Saturday evening saw many of our students, friends and family members descend on Bolton Parish Church to enjoy an evening of festive entertainment. The carol concert was lots of fun indeed, and a resounding success. We would like to thank each and every person who took part in the performances, and of course everybody who came along to support the event.
All the hard work of students and tutors in preparation for the carol concert certainly paid off, with well recieved renditions of christmas songs echoing throughout the building. A number of pieces such as “Carol of the Bells” showcased the talents of the Booth’s Music choir, while many other popular carols including “Here we come Wassailing” and “Silent Night” offered a fine display of instrumental playing accross the board.
Concert Money Raised
Although the concert was hosted with free admission, donations have raised £146.30 towards the Churchgate stage fund (‘Stage-o-meter can be found on the right hand side of this page) – thank you very much to all who contributed… and “well done” everybody!
