Two of the Live Zone bands from the Saturday morning workshop at Booths Music took part in a concert last Thursday (5th May) at “The Venue”, on Churchgate.
This succesful event provided an opportunity for the band members to gain experience playing live together in front of a large audience, and a fun time was had by all.
Flying Polar Bears hit the stage first, consisting of Brayden on electric guitar, Amy on vocals, Robert on bass guitar and Emily playing the drum kit.
Next up, The Other Dudes delivered their performance, with members Ben on vocal and acoustic guitar, Sean on electric guitar, Ryan on the bass guitar and drummer Jake.
Multi-instrumentalist Johnny Rogers and his band mates David Grundy and Nathaniel Jepegnanam, make up So Called Friend. These guys have recently won a battle of the bands competition hosted by the Manchester venue Band on the Wall.
The headlining act for the event was Early Mojo, a pop punk/ska band from Manchester.
