Due to current conditions with the coronavirus, Booths Music branded instruments are only available by delivery to BL (Bolton) postcodes. If you are just outside this and would like to make a purchase, please get in touch via Facebook or firstname.lastname@example.org. Click and collect is available at our Bolton town centre premises.
We’re delighted to now offer our own branded student clarinets to start you off on your musical journey. Our Booths clarinets feature nickel plated keys (17), rings and Corpus rings (6), adjustable thumb holder and neck strap ring, complete with a modern hardcase and cleaning material and cork grease and reed.
Upon arrival, our clarinets individually go through our own workshop for a final check-over to ensure, in our opinion, maximum playability for a student. This work includes:
- Removal of all transportation wedges and cork.
- Thorough check of the keywork balance.
- Grease application to the joints.
At this stage, the clarinet is individually signed off by a technician for reassurance that your instrument is in optimum playing order and has had the very best individual attention possible. Added benefits include a tagged and logged case in event of accidental loss, free loyalty card for discounts on accessories and music and a free practice diary to aid your musical development.
3 Years Service Warranty
Should your clarinet need maintenance attention in terms of general servicing or otherwise, we offer 3 years of free aftercare for woodwind and brass instruments in our Bolton workshop.
Price of Clarinets: £149
Why choose Booths student instruments?
These new products are of good quality and will see you a student happily through to intermediate level. However, what we also offer has been carefully thought through with our staff and teachers, using our 180+ years of experience in musical retail and aftercare to make these instruments stand out from the crowd:
Post manufacture check-up
All Booths students instruments go through the workshop for a full check up and service (worth £50) to ensure full playability from the off. For instance, taking a Booths violin, the bridge and top nut are set and cut to optimum heights and positions, pegs are checked for ease of tuning, strings are pre-tensioned and inlays have been added to aid initial intonation. Similar attention is given to all other Booths student instruments.
