We would like to wish all our customers, students (and parents) and friends a very Happy Xmas and NYE. Thank you for choosing Booth’s Music as your preferred musical retail and tuition centre, and here’s to lots of fun musical endeavours in 2025.

The shop will close at 16:00 today and there will be shorter opening hours over the next ten days or so. You can direct any enquiries to info@boothsmusic.co.uk or via your preferred social media platform and a member of staff will get back to you during advertised opening hours.

Some tutors are in operating selected lessons on the 28th, 30th, 31st and 3rd with everybody back to normal from Saturday 4th January. Please check with your individual tutor if you are unsure.

Electric drum set with the look and feel of an acoustic kit, made by quality drum makers Jobeky. Items excluding the (expensive) shells sell for £700-£850 online second hand, so this really is a bargain with the Jobeky drums included.

Although well-played over the years it has generally been well looked after.

List of items:
– Jobeky Drums, including snare (13"), bass (20"), 3 rack toms (8", 10", 12") and floor tom (13"). See below for note on 8" tom.
– Roland cymbals, including 2 CY-8 crashes and VH-11 hihat.
– Roland TD-9 drum brain/ sound module
– Peavy Bass amplifier with leads
– Dixon Kinde Series hihat stand
– Dixon curved drum rack with mounts and stands.
– Pearl bass pedal
– BRAND NEW Promuco snare stand No stool included

Things to note:The following has been taken into account.
– There are some minor scruffs/ scrapes/ blemishes, but nothing major (feel free to message for photos).
– The snare drum trigger brace was repaired due to weakening, it has played fine for at least 8 years.
– A lug on the bass drum was repaired (again at least 8 years ago) and left some glue around it.

Other points:
– The rubber around the snare rim hangs off a little and may want replacing at some point.
– Perhaps wants a new bass skin patch.
– The resonant head on the bass has been patched up (only an aesthetic issue with electric drums).
– Old snare stand has been thrown and replaced with new.

    Booths Music shop is situated on Churchgate in Bolton and has been one of Bolton’s leading musical instrument shops since 1832. It was Mr. James Booth, who is the great, great, great, great grandfather of the present owners who originally founded the music shop. His passion for music has been passed down through the generations and to all our expert staff and music tutors.

    Our music shop stocks a wide range of new and preowned musical instruments and accessories from guitar tutor books, banjo’s and electric violins to guitars, brass and woodwind instruments. We also have a workshop instore and can help with all musical instrument repairs and restoriations including professional guitar set ups.
