Emma Durkin joined the Booths team in 2016 offering piano tuition on Thursday evenings. She is proficient in teaching both piano and keyboard, and is enthusiastic about developing musical abilities and talents.
Emma’s passion for music has developed from a very early age, when she developed an interest in learning to play the keyboard. After attaining her grade 8, Emma turned her attention to piano, and has worked her way through the grades. She has been involved in several ensembles and various events including weddings and christenings. She also plays the church organ on Sundays at a local church.
Emma has always been creative with her music, and enjoys improvising and composing her own music. She particularly enjoys playing classical and jazz pieces, as well as developing film scores electronically to create her own unique arrangements.
