A Week at Booths! Interview with Luke Jones

  • by

Hi Luke! We hope you’ve had a great week on work experience here at Booths, please introduce yourself for our readers!

Hi my name’s Luke and I’m 15 and I came to Booths from Rivington and Blackrod High School.

What instrument(s) do you play?

I have mainly played guitar for the past 3 or 4 years, I can play a ukulele and I also do a little bit of singing every now and then.

What kind of music are you into Luke? Do you have any favourite bands or guitarists?

I like a wide range of music but mainly listen to rock music, Foo Fighters are my favourite band but I also like a few other bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Frank Turner and Biffy Clyro.

What’s your favourite album and why?

One of my favourite albums would have to be the Colour And The Shape by Foo Fighters because I like every song that was on that album! Most Red Hot Chili Peppers albums would also have to be some of my favourite albums.

Favourite Tv Show?

Breaking Bad, hands down!

Good answer, favourite Film?

I don’t really have a favourite film but some of the best would have to be the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, most Marvel films and Predator (they made me say it!).

How was it working in the music industry for a week? Did you learn anything new about Booths??

It was very fun to work at Booths for the week, I learnt many things such as stock checking, stock ordering, learning how to use the cash machine, the card machine, putting products online and finally getting the hang of the price gun! Overall my time at Booths was really good, they are nice people to work with and I would recommend anyone to this shop.

Thank you Luke for all your enthusiasm and hard work over the week!
