Well done to our friend Crissi Makin, who organised a fantastic all day busking event in aid of BBC Children in Need, that took place outside Booth’s Music store on Churchgate in Bolton.
Music was played from 10AM until around 5.30PM, with musicians and singers from accross the local area coming along to do their bit. Crissi did a fantastic job and credit is also due to all the buskers who braved to icy cold weather to raise money for unfortunate children, including Brian Harris, Paul Blackburn, Big Dan AKA “Corporal Vinnie”, The Cider ‘Ouse Entourage and solo sets from members Gav Walker and Don Parry, Roger Bridge, Pete Tate and Cameron, and many more…
The final amount raised was £212.15, which is a substantial donation. Well done everybody, especially Crissi!
